2. How We Use Your Information
- Ride Tracking & Navigation: GPS data powers real-time turn-by-turn navigation and records your ride history.
- Group Rides: Location is shared with co-riders in your active group ride session so members can see each other on the map in real time.
- Crash Detection & SOS: Accelerometer and gyroscope data is analysed on-device to detect sudden impacts. If a crash is detected, an automatic SOS alert with your last known location is sent to your designated emergency contacts.
- Lean Angle Tracking: Motion sensor data is used to calculate motorcycle lean angles during rides, stored as part of ride history for your personal review.
- Route Sharing: You may choose to share completed ride routes with other users or the community.
- Subscription Management: We record payment transaction identifiers (from Razorpay) to activate and manage your premium subscription.
3. Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored on Supabase cloud infrastructure (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS data centres.
- Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+).
- Access to production databases is restricted to authorised personnel only.
- We use row-level security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access their own data.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
- Co-riders during active rides: Your real-time location is visible to members of your active group ride session only. This sharing stops automatically when you end the ride.
- Emergency contacts: In the event of a detected crash, your last known location is shared with your designated emergency contacts via SMS/notification.
- Razorpay: Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. Their use of your payment data is governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
- We do not sell your personal data to any third party, ever.
- We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

- Right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port your personal data.
- Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
Legal basis for processing: Contract performance (providing the ride-tracking service you signed up for), legitimate interest (crash detection for rider safety), and consent (location sharing with co-riders, which you initiate by starting/joining a group ride).
8. India Information Technology Act Compliance

RiderOS is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
